Music Monday-Fletcher

Music Monday is a weekly feature/meme hosted here at Always Me. The idea behind it is to share one or two songs that you have been enjoying lately. 

This week I am sharing a couple of songs by Fletcher. I started listening to her back in June when her debut single "War Paint" came out. Unfortunately, I don't think she really got enough buzz! I'm very surprised since she has a fantastic voice and catchy songs with great lyrics. Since her album "Finding Fletcher" just came out (at the end of September I think) I just had to share a couple of her songs. 

1. War Paint 

I really love the sound of this song. The drums, the little bit of banjo, it all works for me and feels fresh. I also like the lyrics which are fun, but strong at the same time.

2. Live Young Die Free

I really love how catchy this one is, especially the chorus. The lyrics for this one really resonate with me too. I love the whole, "don't play it safe, go after what you want now" kind of thing. Life is short!

New music!!! I LIVE for new music. Since I listen to music ALL DAY practically I burn myself out on songs quickly and I need new stuff. So I anxiously await new music to be released so I can find something new to obsess over. Here's two new songs that I have been listening to and LOVING! 

1. Make Me Move By: Britney Spears 

I HATED this song at first. Like, really hated it. Then it grew on me. I don't even know why I like it. I couldn't tell you. I just like the sound of it for whatever reason. Also, I love how she sings the "oh yeah" part. LOL!

2. Take Me Down By: The Pretty Reckless 

I LOVE The Pretty Reckless and I was so excited to see they have a new song out. I love the lyrics and the whole make a deal with the devil for rock 'n' roll thing! I almost saw them in concert once, but they UNFORTUNATELY had to cancel. :'(

Music Monday- Popular Songs ATM That I'm LOVING And Are Super Stuck In My Head

This Monday I have picked two incredibly catchy tunes that I have been enjoying lately. Maybe you will recognize these and have been enjoying them too! 

1. Don't Mind By: Kent Jones

Don't Mind is SO catchy. This song has been stuck in my head nonstop lately. There's just something really fun about it to me.

I actually didn't like This Is What You Came For that much when I first heard it. However, it got stuck in my head and I just can't help but enjoy it.

Music Monday- Nick Jonas & Zendaya

Music Monday is a weekly feature/meme hosted here at Always Me. The idea behind it is to share one or two songs you have been enjoying lately. 

This week is Disney week I suppose since the two artists I'm sharing music from are Disney alums. :D I never really watched them on the Disney channel, but I'm enjoying their music! Also, if you haven't watched the show "Kingdom" with Nick Jonas in it then you are missing out!! He does a great job in it and the show is SO GOOD. I recommend it for fans of SOA. 

1. Chainsaw & Close By: Nick Jonas 

I can't say that either of these songs are better than "Jealous" from his last album, but his new album is pretty good too! These are the two songs that I'm really liking most from the album. Close also features Tove Lo who I love!

I don't always like when songs sample older songs, but this is one of the good ones!! Something New samples TLC's song "Creep", which I love, and it really works here! This song features Chris Brown and it's just a fun one to listen to.

Music Monday- Female Artists

Music Monday is a weekly feature/meme hosted here at Always Me. The idea behind it is to share one or two songs you have been enjoying lately. 

This week I decided to spotlight two female artists. I have an entire playlist on Spotify that is girls only! These are two female artists that I don't feel like get enough spotlight and they have some amazing songs. These two songs in particular are two of my all time favorite songs! 

1. You're Not The One- Sky Ferreira 

I just LOVE this song! I love everything about it from the music, the lyrics, her voice, the music video, and even the album cover! I also really like her songs "Everything is Embrassing" and "Lost In My Bedroom."

2. Can't Breathe By: Fefe Dobson 

I just realized that I picked two songs about relationships that aren't working or didn't work out. I think everyone has felt this at some point in their lives and this one sums up that feeling perfectly! I like the video for this one too. I also love her songs "Stuttering" and "Ghost."
