Top Ten Tuesday- Top Ten Books I Enjoyed That Have Under 2000 Ratings On Goodreads

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/meme hosted here at The Broke and the Bookish. The topic this week is Top Ten Books I Enjoyed That Have Under 2000 Ratings On Goodreads.

I have to admit that when I was looking at Goodreads for books for this topic I was very surprised at what I found. There are so many good ones that have under 2,000 ratings on Goodreads. That makes me sad!! There are so many good books that need more ratings! I actually came up with my top thirteen books for this list so here they are!

**NOTE** I added the # of ratings the books have to the post. This is the # of ratings at the time I wrote the post, the #'s may have changed since then.

1. With Malice By: Eileen Cook
Ratings: 984

2. After the Woods By: Kim Savage
Ratings: 1,061

3. Underwater By: Marisa Reichardt
Ratings: 1,028

4. For the Record By: Charlotte Huang
Ratings: 871

5. The Suffering By: Rin Chupeco
Ratings: 627

6. The Manitou By: Graham Masterton
Ratings: 1,667

7. Plague Town By: Dana Fredsti
Ratings: 1,247

8. The Entity By: Frank De Felitta
Ratings: 998

9. The Prophecy of Shadows By: Michelle Madow
Ratings: 545

10. Auburn: Outcasts and Underdogs By: Valerie Thomas
Ratings: 110

11. S is for Stranger By: Louise Stone
Ratings: 91

12. We'll Never Be Apart By: Emiko Jean
Ratings: 988

13. Conjure Wife By: Fritz Leiber
Ratings: 1,358

That's it for this Top Ten Tuesday! I can't believe these books have less than 2,000 ratings on Goodreads, even though some of the books (like With Malice) just came out not long ago. I personally recommend all of these books if you haven't read them. I rated all of the books either four or five stars and you can click the pictures to go to the book on Goodreads. What books have you enjoyed with under 2,000 ratings on Goodreads?

2015 Book Recap

2015 has been a fantastic reading year for me. In many ways. I started off the year with a Goodreads goal of 80 books, which is A LOT for me. I usually don't read that many books per year. I met that goal before the year was even half over. So I raised my goal to 110 books. I surpassed that with a whopping 177 books read this year. WOW! Here is my Goodreads 2015 year in books.

In 2016 I won't be focusing again on how many books I read. Instead I will be doing my Insane Genre Challenge, info can be found here Insane Genre Challenge, and soon I will be making a Goodreads group for the challenge for anyone who wants to join in!

Here are some books of note for me that I read in 2015:

The Locke & Key series got me started on graphic novels! I read the first one in the series mid 2014, but I didn't pick up the second one until the beginning of this year.

The Black Butler series got me started on mangas!! I found out I like some anime this year and Black Butler was so good that I had to give the mangas a shot.

I found CoHo!! Her writing is so addicting and I hope I get to read more by her in 2016.

I read all of the books in The Selection Series, The Lunar Chronicles Series, The Madman's Daughter Series, and The Daughter of Smoke and Bone Series.

I finished The Mortal Instruments Series and The Infernal Devices Series.

I read the first one in the Lux Series and I can't wait to finish that series!

I started The Fever Series and I'm reading on them now.

Of course there were a few books that I didn't like. Some of those were: The Passenger, Sugar Skulls, Paper Dolls, Bliss, and A Thousand Nights.

I didn't have ONE favorite book that I read in 2015. I had many and here are a few of those: Darkfever, Obsidian, Daughter of Smoke & Bone, Clockwork Angel, Everything, Everything, ACOTAR, Uprooted, Slammed, Remember Mia, A Man Called Ove, Ugly Love, Cinder, Eleanor & Park, The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath, The Troop, and Wuthering Heights. Any series on here I am including all of the ones I have read in that series.

Overall I think I had a pretty fabulous year of reading. I found so many new books (and types of books!) to enjoy and love. I started blogging and made a bunch of new friends. It's been pretty amazing book-wise and I can't wait to see what books I discover in 2016.

How did your book reading go in 2015? Did you complete any challenges? Find new favorites? Didn't read as much as you wanted to? Let me know in the comments!

Happy New Year and I hope you all have a great 2016!!!
