Into the Water By: Paula Hawkins Mini Review

The very, very beginning of Into the Water was a bit confusing for me, but after that the book was pretty good. I liked this one more than The Girl on the Train to be honest. In my opinion both books are not anything exceptionally different for a thriller. However, I did enjoy Into the Water and the very end had an unexpected twist and I always appreciate that. I do wish there had been at least one likeable character though. I don't think a book HAS to have a likeable character, but I feel like it's getting a bit stale in thrillers to have all unlikeable characters.
#GoodTwistButNotUniqueEnough

Overall I was entertained by Into the Water and that's really all I can ask for in a book. It's worth a read, but don't expect anything extremely unique. Most of the book is predictable and it's a slow burn. The twist is what bumped it up from a 3 star to a 4 star read for me. If you're a thriller fan I would recommend giving this one a try!
