I guess I'm the only person that HATED this book.

Not really. It sucked.
Way too much science, math, and mechanics for me.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
The only interesting thing was Mark's personality.
I think I'll go ahead and pass on the movie too.
Thank goodness it's over. I think I would rather be stuck on Mars than read this book ever again.

I know I'm one of the few that didn't like it. Honestly, how is he smart enough for all that MacGyver stuff? That was a lot. I'm not saying The Martian is a bad book, I'm saying I didn't like it. It was dull and difficult to get through. I keep seeing SO MANY people talking about how they skimmed a lot of parts, hell I did too. That was a rough read for me. I recommend for science whizzes who can keep up with all the explanations.
