Waiting on Wednesday- A Crown of Wishes (The Star-Touched Queen #2) By: Roshani Chokshi

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly feature/meme hosted here at Breaking the Spine. The idea behind it is to share upcoming releases that we can't wait to get our hands on!

My pick for this week is A Crown of Wishes By: Roshani Chokshi. I absolutely LOVED The Star-Touched Queen and I can't wait for this one. Gauri!!! I don't think anything else needs to be said here.

Expected Publication Date: March 28, 2017

I know I don't need to say it, but my word that is a gorgeous cover! I definitely can't wait for this one, how about you? Did you enjoy the first book? What are you waiting on this Wednesday?

I noticed that Jill, our WoW meme host, hasn't posted in a few weeks. Does anyone know if she's okay and if she will be back?

The Star-Touched Queen By: Roshani Chokshi Review

Well I just devoured The Star-Touched Queen! The writing is so magical and I was 100% fully immersed in the world that Roshani Chokshi created. Once I started reading this one everything else faded away and I was very invested in this book.

#HookedImmediately

The story is so expertly done and everything just flows right. The Star-Touched Queen is a spectacular novel full of Indian folklore and mythology. The folklore and mythology is so well done and VIVID. This book has everything going for it. I don't think I can accurately describe how captivating this book is. The world building is superb.

#VIVID

I just loved the romance! The romance is smoldering, swoon worthy, and unexpected. I kept thinking the romance was going to go one way, but it did not. I really love both Maya and Amar and I was rooting for them the entire time. This whole book was just fabulous and I can't even write a coherent review even though I've been working on it a while. I don't have anything bad to say at all.  Just go read it!! I can't wait to read more from Roshani Chokshi!!

#FangirlingOut

Overall The Star-Touched Queen is an amazing fantasy novel. The Indian folklore and mythology is seductive and fascinating. This book is utter perfection. I love every page of it and I'm still fangirling out. I knew within the first 25 pages that this would be a 5 star read for me. I can't get over how great it was.

#Perfection

I recommend The Star-Touched Queen for ANYONE looking for a new favorite YA fantasy novel.
