Top Ten Tuesday- Top FIve Books I Picked Up On A Whim And Loved

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/meme hosted here at The Broke and the Bookish. This week's topic is Top Ten Books I Picked Up On A Whim And Loved.

YES!! I LOOOVE this topic. Especially because just last week I picked up a book on a whim and it was WONDERFUL. I don't pick up many books on a whim I suppose though because I could only think of five. I'm sure there are more, but these are the recent ones that I can think of.

1. When We Collided By: Emery Lord

Confession: I picked this one up thanks to the author's twitter account. I love what she has to say on her tweets and if you aren't following her yet, you should be. I need to check out more of her books now since I loved When We Collided so much!

2. Rat Queens By: Kurtis J. Wiebe & Illustrated By: Roc Upchurch

I definitely picked up Rat Queens on a whim. I had heard of it and thought oh that's cool, but really had no plans to buy it. Then my husband mentioned it and I decided well let's just go buy it.

3. The Raven Boys By: Maggie Stiefvater

I have been wanting to read The Raven Boys (any Stiefvater book really) for a while, but I didn't have any plans to read it immediately. Then I kept seeing positive reviews on blog posts for books in the series. So I decided to download the audiobook and give it a go right away, even though my TBR has been extreme.

4. You By: Caroline Kepnes

I don't even remember what made me decide to pick up You. I was just out buying books and I grabbed it. That's really on a whim!

5. Obsidian By: Jennifer L. Armentrout

I had been wanting to read an Armentrout book for a while, but I was not prepared to spend money to do so. Then I saw Obsidian was free for the Kindle app and I went for it.

So that's my top FIVE books I picked up on a whim and I'm very glad I did!! What books have you picked up on a whim?
