Fall Time Cozy Time Book Tag

I saw this tag over here at Enchanted by YA and the tag was originally created here Novels and Nonsense on booktube.

I LOVE fall so when I saw this tag I just had to do it. Fall is my favorite time of year and I can't get enough of horror movies and pumpkin everything! I live in Texas though and it's still been around 85 degrees every day. Boo, but I better enjoy it now before it gets too cold (anything below 50 degrees is too cold) and my Texan body can't handle it. Winter is coming...Ha!

So here's the tag and as always I tag anyone who wants to do it.

Crunching Leaves- The world is full of color. Choose a book that has reds, oranges, or yellows on the cover.

I chose Carrie by Stephen King because not only is it red, but it's a horror novel so it's perfect for a fall tag!! I love this book and it's one of my favorite Stephen King novels.

Cozy Jumper- It's finally cold enough to don the warm, cozy clothing. What book gives you the warm fuzzies?

I LOVE the Ouran High School Host Club!! It gives me the warm fuzzies because it's just so cute. There is a lot of depth in there as well, but it's so gosh darn adorable. I've only read the first two mangas so far and I can't wait to continue the series. Haruhi + Tamaki = Forever. <3

Fall Storm- The wind is howling and the rain is pounding. Choose your favorite book/genre you like to read on a stormy day.

Well this is a perfect question for today!!! It's been raining like crazy all morning and I just finished my horror novel that I was reading. Of course I have to say horror is my favorite genre for rainy days, but also I like to read books that are melancholy on days like today.

Cool Crisp Air- What's the coolest character you'd want to trade places with?

Celaena Sardothien from the Throne of Glass series. I think she is the perfect female character. I love how she is this tough as nails assassin, but also she really loves clothes and books. Brains? Check. Bookworm. Check. Beautiful. Check. Badass. Check. I would love to trade places with her for sure.

Hot Apple Cider- What under-hyped book do you want to see become the next biggest, hottest thing?

I would have to say The Dolls by Kiki Sullivan or Remember Mia by Alexandra Burt. I really love both of those, but it doesn't seem like they are very popular.

Coats, Scarves, & Mittens- The weather has turned cold and it's time to cover up. What's the most embarrassing book you own that you would like to keep hidden in public?

I have both of these Pamela Anderson novels. I read them a long time ago and honestly they weren't too bad! I think I gave them three stars each on goodreads. I would be really embarrassed to read these in public though.

Pumpkin Spiced Latte- What's your favorite fall time comfort food or drink?

Pumpkin everything!!! Pumpkin pie, pumpkin coffee, pumpkin hot tea, and anything else pumpkin. Other than that I really like chicken and dumplings this time of year.

Okay that's the end of the tag. Thanks for reading and please let me know some of your own answers below in the comments. I always comment back. <3 <3 <3

  2. How fun! I absolutely love fall, too. Beautiful season with beautiful weather. I have a sister who lives in Texas as well; she says that when a single snowflake falls, everyone suddenly can't drive LOL. I live in Ohio. Decent amount of snow every year here!

I really need to try the Throne of Glass series. It looks excellent, and everyone seems to love it.

    1. That's it exactly!! Because we don't really get snow here (when we do it's more ice than anything) we don't know how to drive in it! Plus we don't have snow tires and stuff so we just all have to stay home haha!

The Thone of Glass series is so good!! Unless you just HATE fantasy novels I think you will love it. :)
