Frostblood By: Elly Blake Review

I won a free copy of Frostblood By: Elly Blake in a Twitter giveaway hosted by @heylisarenee and @morganameridius ! Thank you both so much!

Hooray! I FINALLY have a 5 star read this year.  I know it sounds crazy, being so early in the year, but I've been a bit disappointed in my reads this year. Luckily since the time I've read this one I've had some better books, but it was a rough start to the year bookwise!

I completely devoured Frostblood. It was exactly the book I was looking for. The second I started it I couldn't put it down.  I love the world and the whole concept of fire vs ice is always intriguing. While this was not the most unique book, it was a lot of fun and so darn good.

I love Ruby's character and she was done really well. I felt sorry for her and rooted for her throughout the whole book. I also love the romance in the book. I did guess early on where everything was going, but I didn't care. It didn't make it any less enjoyable.

Overall Frostblood is just pure YA/Fantasy fun! It's such an addicting and enjoyable book. I can't wait to read book two and I'm so glad it comes out this year! By the way, have you seen the cover for that one? It's also gorgeous!!

I recommend Frostblood for fans of the Throne of Glass series and anyone else looking for a fun YA/Fantasy novel!
