Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/meme hosted here at The Broke and the Bookish. The topic for this week is actually Top Ten Books Set Outside The US, but I decided to go with an older topic from the list for mine.
While I'm looking forward to reading everyone else's TTT about books set outside the US, I don't really know that many! At least not that I can think of. So I'm looking forward to reading your suggestions and I'm doing a different topic. Since I just had my 1 year BLOGOVERSARY I thought this fit well. Speaking of Blogoversary here is my celebratory post and there are GIVEAWAYS.
Anyway, I've been thinking about this a lot since I just had my blogoversary. I have admitted to thinking of quitting blogging a lot, but why do I keep going? Well here are some reasons that I love being a blogger!
1. Friendships
I have mentioned that there are times I still feel like an outsider in the bookish community, but that's not all the time. I have made many bookish friends and being a blogger is what led me to these wonderful people. I enjoy talking about books and much more with them. I love you all! (You know who you are.)
2. Writing
The original reason I started this blog is to work on my writing skills. Believe me when I tell you that I am much better than I used to be at writing. I'm still far from perfect though. I know I make a lot of mistakes, but I can see the difference!
3. Fangirling
I just love to fangirl out with everyone! It's so fun to have bookish friends to fangirl out with. Not everyone has the same taste, but there is someone else out there that likes a book you like and you can squee about it with. It's awesome.
4. Reviewing
I just like to review books. I like to write out how I feel about each book and what I liked/disliked.
5. Reminders
My reviews help me when I can't really remember a book I read that well. Even a short review I wrote can help spark my piss poor memory into working.
6. Fun
Blogging is fun when it's not super stressful!!
7. Keeping Track
Blogging really has helped me to keep track of books coming out, what books I need to read next, and so on.
8. Authors
I like to read things about authors in interviews on other's blogs and I wouldn't have found out these things before! Plus I follow some on Twitter & IG now. I'll admit that I freak out any time an author talks to me on Twitter or something. LOL.
9. Other Blogs
Yey for other book blogs!! I love to read other blogs when I have time. I have found out lots of cool information about books that way. I love other blogs!!
10. ARC's
I love ARCs. It's not my #1 thing and I don't obsess over them, but I do enjoy them. Who doesn't?
Those are my Top Ten Reasons I Love Being A Blogger!! Now when I'm stressed about blogging I can just come back and read this post. Ha. Why do you love being a blogger??
