Top Ten Tuesday- Top Ten Authors That I'm Thankful For

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme/feature hosted here at The Broke and the Bookish. The topic for this week is top ten authors that I'm thankful for or any Thanksgiving related freebie.

I chose this topic because I am truly thankful for these authors. Without them a lot of the fantastic books that I hold dear would not exist. Thank you authors for pouring out your heart and soul into these books! Well here is my list and I'm going to keep it super short this week due to the upcoming holiday. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

1.) R.L. Stine

2.) Stephen King

3.) Oscar Wilde

4.) Sylvia Plath

5.) J.K. Rowling

6.) Joe Hill

7.) Edgar Allan Poe

8.) Jim Butcher

9.) Sarah J. Maas

10.) Colleen Hoover

That's my top ten authors that I'm thankful for, but here are a few honorable mentions that I just couldn't leave off of this list.

11.) Laini Taylor

12.) Cassandra Clare

13.) Gena Showalter

What are some authors that you are thankful for? Let me know in the comments. I love seeing your own answers. :D

  1. Ugh almost all of them too xD I don't pick by author though. I always look at each book individually regardless of the author. If by chance I like a lot of books by the same author then good but just the author itself is not a guarantee for me ;)

    1. That's true! It's not always a guarantee. There are even a few Stephen King books that I don't like. *Gasp* lol. But these are all authors who have had a big impact on me in someway. :D

  4. Honestly, I'm mostly thankful for Maggie Stiefvater since she replenishes my soul with so much awesome. But some of these authors would be on my list as well.

  5. Of course Rowling had to go on the list, she's amazing :) I am so thankful for Sarah J Maas, because without her we wouldn't have Celaena! And how could we possibly survive without her?

  6. Great list! I don't think there are many people in the world who aren't thankful for J.K. Rowling! I'm ashamed to say I haven't read any Sylvia Plath or Oscar Wilde yet, but they're both authors I really want to get to soon. :)
